Nova Labs launches blockchain-based mobile package business across the United States
According to Bloomberg, cryptocurrency startup Nova Labs is launching a mobile plan across the United States for $20 per month, which allows unlimited texting, calling, and data usage, while utilizing blockchain technology and T-Mobile's wireless network. Additionally, Nova Labs' Helium network works by using wireless hotspots that users can set up in their own homes, with outdoor versions available for $499 and indoor versions for $249. If the Helium hotspot is out of range, the phone will switch to T-Mobile's network. Helium states that hotspot owners can earn an encrypted token called MOBILE when people use the Helium network.
