ZachXBT: MEV engineer PokerBrat allegedly fraudulently solicited at least $1.2 million from 11 individuals
Bockchain analyst ZachXBT tweeted that MEV engineer PokerBrat raised at least $1.2 million from 11 people earlier this year for various MEV robots (independent of Rampage) and claimed that the robots would be put into use soon. However, after initially agreeing to return the funds due to numerous release delays, PokerBrat made various excuses, including COVID-19, health issues, exchange issues, extortion, and family problems.
ZachXBT stated that PokerBrat had previously pleaded guilty in 2002 to defrauding investors of $4 million (used for buying cars and gambling) and was sentenced to three years in prison for fraud in 2007 after stealing funds from over 10 victims in Colorado.
