Bitrace: Fake imToken and fake BitpieWallet wallet applications appear in Apple App Store in China
Bitrace has tweeted that SlowMist and Bitrace teams have discovered fake imToken and BitpieWallet wallet apps in the Chinese Apple App Store, and there have been victims who have suffered financial losses. Bitrace suspects that a coin theft group has taken advantage of the lack of strict auditing in the Apple App Store and used the purchase of keyword rankings to drive traffic to download links for fake wallets.
