1Password: Users using older versions may receive error messages, root cause is being investigated
On November 18th, 1Password, a wallet address and private key storage project, tweeted that users who download and use the old version of 1Password from the Mac App Store may receive an error message stating that the 1Password application is damaged. The 1Password team is currently investigating the root cause of this issue. According to preliminary investigations, some users have resolved the issue by automatically setting the system time on their Mac, restarting their Mac, deleting the App Store version, and installing the App from the official website. If these methods do not work, users can contact the 1Password team. This issue only affects unsupported old versions of 1Password. The 1Password team recommends that all users upgrade to 1Password 8.
