EigenLayer has launched its second phase testnet, allowing Rollup to use EigenDA as a data-available layer
EigenLayer has announced the launch of its second phase testnet, which mainly includes the following features:
1. Node operators can register on the network and verify the first AVS - EigenDA;
2. Staking users can delegate their shares to node operators and share security with EigenDA;
3. Rollup can use EigenDA as a data availability layer to build brand new large-scale applications.
According to EigenLayer's early plans, the launch of this project will be divided into three stages to attract various participants to join the ecosystem. In the first stage, Stakers can try to re-stake through EigenLayer; in the second stage, Operators, node operators can accept delegations from stakers on EigenLayer; and in the third stage, Services, active verification services will be launched. Previously, the first stage, Stakers, had completed testing and launched on the mainnet.
