Dingcheng Police cracked a virtual currency theft case and recovered more than 90,000 yuan
On September 26th, the Dingcheng District Public Security Bureau Caoping Police Station received a report from a local resident named Zhu claiming that 12,500 virtual currencies stored in their online account had been stolen, worth about 90,000 yuan. After receiving the report, the police immediately launched an investigation. After analysis and judgment, the police found that the victim's colleague Tang Mousheng (21 years old, male, from Yongzhou City) had a major suspicion of the crime. On November 6th, after obtaining sufficient evidence, the police successfully arrested Tang Mousheng and recovered all the stolen money.
After interrogation, the suspect Tang Mousheng confessed to the crime of stealing virtual currency. Currently, Tang Mousheng has been taken into custody by the public security organs according to law, and the case is being further processed. On November 9th, the Caoping Police Station held a ceremony to return the recovered funds, and all the more than 90,000 yuan was returned to Zhu.
