Blockchain VC Firm Lightspeed Faction Launches $285M Fund for Early-Stage Projects
Blockchain-focused venture capital firm Lightspeed Faction is launching a new $285m fund aimed at investing in early-stage projects. The firm, whose team members have previously worked at Amber Group, Blockchain.com, Coinbase and Lightspeed Venture Capital, will also offer "crypto-native" advice to the projects it invests in. The new fund comes amid renewed optimism in the crypto sector, buoyed by the expectation of bitcoin spot ETF approval by the SEC. Lightspeed Faction typically invests in seed-stage and Series A funding rounds and has previously invested in Crossmint, Lens, Narya.ai, Skip.money and Matter Labs.
