According to PeckShield monitoring data, 32 hacker attacks in October 2023 resulted in a net loss of $32.47 million (with about $5.1 million worth of cryptocurrency recovered). The top 5 hackers were: 1. A Fantom Foundation employee's wallet was emptied of about $7 million worth of cryptocurrency; 2. The Philippine exchange Coins[.]ph lost 12.2 million XRP (about $6 million) in a potential vulnerability; 3. Some victims lost about $4.4 million due to the LastPass hacker attack; 4. Burgel.eth was depleted of about $3 million across multiple addresses; 5. StarsArena was hacked and lost about $3 million worth of AVAX in October; In October, the exploiter of FTX converted approximately 86,000 ETCBTC">ETH to BTC.
