What Is Eigenpie (EGP)?
Eigenpie is a Liquid Restaking Platform that offers a Liquid Restaked version of different ETH LSTs. Node Operators in the EigenLayer Ecosystem can utilize these to validate new services.
How Eigenpie (EGP) Works
Native ETH holders and liquid staking participants can increase the utility of their ETH and ETH LSTs by depositing them into Eigenpie. Eigenpie then restakes these assets through Node Operators on EigenLayer to support new "Actively Validated Services" (AVSs). In return, users receive LRTs, allowing them to earn rewards while maintaining liquid positions. This arrangement enables LRT holders to earn revenue through their direct participation in validating new "Actively Validated Services" (AVS) with their underlying ETH and LSTs, while still being able to access other DeFi opportunities simultaneously. Eigenpie serves as an ETH and LST provider for Node Operators while also offering ETH and LST holders the benefits of Liquid Restaking on EigenLayer, enhancing their earning potential.
