Popular layer 2 solutions, such as Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum, and even the upstart zkSync, have grown exponentially and created a multitude of fortunes for their loyal users. This does not come without a price (pun intended), however, as depositing and withdrawing assets becomes such a hassle. Take Tether (USDT) for example, you can now deposit and withdraw USDT via nine chains on Bitget. You have to check back and forth to get the chain right, or you’ll have to waste more gas on bridging your assets or worse - miss your long-awaited airdrop!

Introducing Bitget’s EVM address - The only address you’ll ever need

But these addresses are essentially the same - they are just one address across different layer 2s and are all EVM compatible. Whether you’re withdrawing USDT to your wallet via Ethereum or Arbitrum One, the address should remain unchanged.

Hence, we are delighted to introduce you the Bitget’s EVM address book. With one EVM-compatible address, you will be ready to initiate withdrawals through all Ethereum layer 2s. Simply head towards your address book page, click on ‘Add withdrawal address’, and choose ‘EVM Address’ to add your wallet address.

When you’re withdrawing your assets, just select your desired chain, click on the address book icon on the right, and select your EVM address. That’s it! Whether you’re withdrawing liquidity to Ethereum mainnet to purchase your favorite NFT, or to zkSync Era to farm potential airdrops, hundreds of coins across different layer 2s are all at your fingertips.

Say goodbye to passwords

There’s more. We have added yet another feature to make your experience at Bitget silky smooth: password-less small-amount withdrawals.

To enable password-less withdrawals, you need to enable it in your security settings: click on ‘Enable’:

choose your desired amount, select ‘Enable passwordless’, and enter the verification codes we just sent you.

Then, click on the three dots at the right of any item in your address book and select ‘Add passwordless’ to enable password-less withdrawals for amounts under the threshold you just set.

You can also disable password-less withdrawals by clicking on any enabled address in your address book and selecting ‘Remove passwordless addresses’.
