Despite Dips, Bitcoin Remains the Best-Performing Asset

Bitcoin has outperformed major global assets, including stocks, bonds, and precious metals, despite a recent price correction. Following a peak of over $109,000 on January 20—the day of Donald Trump’s inauguration—Bitcoin has declined by 23% but remains the best-performing asset class. Analysts describe this as a natural correction within an ongoing bull market, influenced by economic uncertainty and recession concerns.
Despite market fluctuations, Bitcoin ETFs recorded their highest daily inflows since February, with over $274 million invested on March 17. This suggests strong investor confidence, as ETFs have significantly contributed to Bitcoin’s 2024 rally.
Experts remain optimistic about Bitcoin’s future, with predictions suggesting prices could reach $200,000 within the next two years. CEO of Bitget, Gracy Chen, believes Bitcoin is unlikely to drop below $70,000 and sees the current range as a solid entry point for buyers. Other analysts foresee Bitcoin reaching anywhere between $160,000 and $180,000 by the end of 2025.
